Saving Factor, R.L.

I was born into a Christian home and was brought up as a Christian. So at a young age I found the Lord, believed into God and received Him and His life. At that time and for sometime after, God was mostly objective to me. I had known that He loved me and died for my sins, which caused me to love and appreciate Him. But other than the basics, I did not really know how to continue on in my Christian walk and pursuit of God.

Meeting with the local churches has been the saving factor in my pursuit of God. While I was in college I realized that I couldn't make it as an individual Christian and that I needed to be with other believers to run the race. In the local churches I found my home and I found brothers and sisters who, like me, loved the Lord and wanted to pursue after Him in a real way. Even until now the genuine love and care of all the brothers and sisters in the local churches continually overwhelms me and touches me.

Everyday I have to thank and praise the Lord for leading me to meet with the local churches and to be under the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. There is such life and light and peace here.

Without this ministry I would not know how to go on in my Christian living. Because of the faithfulness of these two brothers, the truths in the Bible and the experience of Christ became more accessible to me. I am now able to know God in a deeper, richer, and more subjective way. He is now so much more to me than an objective Savior that died two thousand years ago. God is personal to me.
